Us, released in 1992, was a deeply personal and experimental album, reflecting Gabriel's emotional journey through themes of love, loss, and self-discovery. Unlike its predecessor So, which had a more pop-oriented sound, Us was more introspective and experimental, blending art rock with elements of world music and electronic textures.
To promote Us, Gabriel embarked on the Secret World Tour in 1993, one of the most ambitious and immersive tours of his career. On 29th September 1993, the tour made a stop in Santiago, Chile, at the Estadio Nacional, and the concert was also broadcast on local radio.
